The Division of Corporations and Trademarks Catalyst system is an online register available to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The system contains two registries: the Business Entity and Trade Name Registry and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Registry.
The primary goal of the USVI Tax Assessor is to serve the people of the Territory by executing the mission and duties of real property tax assessment as set forth in Title 33 of the Virgin Islands Code. The Tax Assessor ensures that all taxable real property within the Territory of the United States Virgin Islands is assessed in a fair and equitable and in compliance with the real property tax laws encoded in Chapters 81 through 89 of Title 33 of the Virgin Islands code.
The USVI Recorder of Deeds is the repository for real property records in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) is established under Virgin Islands Code Title 3 Chapter 16 (§270 et seq). It establishes, administers, coordinates and supervises the regulation and licensing of private businesses and professions (as provided for in V.I.C. Title 27 Professions and Occupations §301 et seq). DLCA provides and administers consumer services and programs pursuant to the Consumer Protection Law of 1973 as set forth in the Code (V.I.C. Title 12A Consumer Code §101 et seq).
